Nguyen spearheaded the Department’s transition from a perimeter-based security to a zero trust architecture and developed the Department’s zero trust strategy implementation plan. Nguyen’s leadership, he ensured the team updated and disseminated the encryption training to the entire Department, published a supply chain risk management plan to secure DOJ’s information and communications technology, and created a cloud strategy with a focus on securing data and applications. Nguyen currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for the U.S. Nguyen’s leadership, hard work, dedication, and efforts have been monumental in shaping the future of the federal government’s cybersecurity posture.
